Leather as a material has long been denigrated in fashion as it was more associated with biker gangs and heavy metal rockers.

But then, things changed and pretty much all influential designers started showing leather on the runway, making it less outcast. 

Ok Queens, we need to take a break here, we all know real leather is priceless.  Which also means it’s pricy,that perhaps may not always make your bank account happy. If you can not or don’t want to afford the real leather, faux  is more than ok! But please If you choose faux leather, make sure to buy high quality. Poorly made ones can easily turn your look from chic to shoddy. That for sure we don't want.

Ok now let us see how to rock a leather piece without looking like a groupie.

How to wear leather

a leather blazer or jacket

This is the classic old approach.It can be worn with a dress or a denim.

 Queens Leather pants need not be “I’m in a rock band” black to look cool.  Ditch the dark and make your style pop with a dose of color.  Black is so expected.  Change it up.

More over,tight leather pants may have been the must for 80′s, but in the real world, most ladies aren’t about to step out like they’re in a Catwoman film.In fact too tight leather pants, or anything for that matter, is uncomfortable and looks silly. Find a pair(even a baggy leather pant) that fits your body and is comfortable .

These fashionista’s look is classically styled with an edgy leather skirt , polka dot top or a sweat .The final touch could be a red lipstick to give the look a tough and edgy vibe.Of course always wear heels.




CASUAL

A leather motor jacket on a sumer dress or a leather croped skirt on a top with a pair of flats will be enough for this style.

CASUAL  CHIC

Leather pants tends to be a very good alternative to denim when you want to add a little twist to a classic outfit.Combine it with wedges and a feminine  top ,pick a colored or light one to avoid the dark rock look.

Another alternative could be a maxi dress under a leather blazer with a pair of flats.

CHIC

 To keep the look as feminine as possible nothing works better than a floral dress. The key lies in pairing your dress with a cropped leather blazer .

Today a leather jacket can be worn even with a tailored dress,and match it perfectly.
