Let's try Pastels

Ladies for quite a moment now  you were used in reading our series on statement pieces that  must be found in every Queen's wardrobe . But today, we have chosen to write about wearing pastel colors.Trust me we've been made to understand that these late years somehow pastel tints are becoming a must in every Queen's wardrobe.

Ok Queens!  for those of us who are not  familiar with this pastel thing.Let us correct this mistake as soon as now.

what it means in terms of fabrics..

Ladies we all agree that these colors are pretty close to unbearable for us under the tropics : too fade, too  flat ,too cold. To make it short: total lack of boldness ; which is an unforgeavable sin when it comes to dress an African Queen. 

But ladies guess what ! All these colors  can actually  be turn another way round when styling  to correct this first wrong impression and fit an African queen taste.

First we have to acknowledge that we black sisters have a great advantage here: the color of our skin.Yes! Queens , our skin color simply tends to revitalize and to sublimate these colors as we shall all notice. Last but not the least,we just have to follow some tips to make sure we rock also this palette.So today we will see how to bring  pastel in a Queen's wardrobe in a daily basis.

Let's start gently with the non risky approach

For ladies who want just a zest of pastel in their outfit or for beginners who are just starting with the pastel palette.

• Wear Pastels as Accessories

 Wear a neutral outfit -it makes pale accessories really pop. 

                                   

• Wear Pastels With Black or other Pales

You can play the safe card by making sure all your pieces are in the same color family , or you can choose to  wear pastel with black(or greys).

Black accents keep the look from getting too garden party. 

Another non risky approach is to wear pastel with other pales and to revitalize it with a  neon color in your accessories for example.

• If you just need to reveal a  Pastel tint

Think of associating pastel with a more saturated tone: blue sky / blue marinades,pale  pink  / red vermilion, green almond / green forest and pink frank salmon / orange.

• If you need to revitalize the look

Fluos revitalizes discreetly but effectively the pastels looks. A shirt marshmallow will appreciate the association with a flashy bracelet, a pastel pant, that with a fluorescent belt; as for a  nude vest, opt for a blue cap king.

• To balance a pastel look

To balance a  pastel look, the white essential remains. A T-shirt or a vest also brings a casual and less got ready touch.

• Associate  pastel with metal accessories 

 For instance,to wake a seagreen color, you can mix it with a metallic tint.Do not hesitate to wear a color belt alu with a pastel pant or to boost a pale pink shirt with a grey slim .
