Denim Jacket

Hello Queens!
How to style a denim jacket  is the topic of the day.
Ladies, as you all know denim is a must have in your closet.More over to dress up a pair of jeans or dress down a skirt or dress, you can not beat a denim jacket. It shape your figure to his best and gives your look that little edgy vibe  .There for the denim jacket is a must have.

Ladies, adding a denim jacket to a trendy outfit makes a definite statement that you are confident and comfortable with who you are; all at a very affordable price.

Let's see below how to style this old stand-by basic that never goes out of style.

How to choose it?
The length
A classic denim jacket hits at hip length, which is ideal for pairing with jeans or pants, since it won’t cut you off at the waist.

A cropped denim jacket is a good choice if you want to wear it with skirts and dresses, as the shorter length visually raises your waist and elongates your legs.

The shade
The light shade is the more trendy and casual shade of jeans,it's perfect to mix and match with other denim shades. It’s like the universal donor of the jeans: It goes with every tone.

The darker shade AKA blue or indigo, is traditional and more formal, which means the classiest. But also the harder to balance.Try choosing blue jeans that are a notably different shade of blue. If your jacket is fairly dark, go for lighter blue jeans, and vice versa. Alternatively, you can also wear your jean jacket with colored jeans or white jeans.

The mid-shade work the same as the dark or indigo one.

KMS special note:
Colored Denim jacket are the best way to turn your outfit in something unique and very trendy. If you like to go classic, choose the white or black shades. Otherwise, you can play with plenty of color  available.
For instance for a perfect summery look, try to wear bright and light colors, such as pale pink, light blue, mint, turquoise or coral. For the cold days of winter, the best choice is the dark colors, quite as gray, burgundy, darkish brown, red or green.

How to wear it?
With other shades of denim.
Some insist that denim-on-denim can never be done, but most people will agree that a denim jacket can look great with denim jeans as long as you mix and match colors and washes.

Pair the jean jacket with non-jean bottoms.
Consider wearing your denim jacket over pants or other bottoms made from other materials ,to prevent your look from being too matchy matchy.

Corduroy pants and khaki cargo(NDLR Cousins Cargo et Camo) pants are a great option for jean jackets . Because of their rugged look these bottoms matches well with the semi-masculine appearance of denim.

On a more feminine note, leggings are another great choice for legwear.

Keep things simple
By pairing your denim jacket with other classic wardrobe staples, you can create a no-fuss look that can be easily accessorized with jewelry, scarves, shoes, and bags.
However,be a little more discerning when pairing a denim jacket with style trends that change the shape of a garment. For instance, peplum tops(NDLR The Perfect Peplum), which flair out at the lower waist, may look better with cropped jackets that stop short of the flair instead of longer ones.

Shape up
If your denim jacket is somewhat boxy, you can remedy the problem and accentuate your curves by wearing a belt or sash around your waist.
For this look, keep the jacket mostly buttoned.
Tie the belt or sash just below the bust. By wearing it there, you highlight the narrowest part of your torso. As a result, your feminine curves become more noticeable.

Do some layering
The best key to remember when dressing with denim is to layer. Most anything that you layer with in color coordination will keep your outfit fashionable. The options are endless. Just think outside the box, be creative, and do not forget to layer(NDLR Layer Like a Pro).

For which style?
Casual
For a classic casual look, wear a maxi jersey coton dress or a t-shirt and jeans with your jacket. The t-shirt can be a solid color, pattern, or a graphic tee.

An other option is to wear contrasting leggings beneath a long tunic, dress, or skirt . Finish the look with flats.

Girly
Wear the jacket with ultra-feminine pieces.

Long, flowing dresses and skirts or even lacy bodycon dress match surprisingly well with denim jackets. The contrast between something undeniably girly and something somewhat boyish creates visual interest.

Wear girlish accessories with this look when possible.

Classy

When choosing a dress or skirt, look for one that drapes well and has an airy aura to it.

A knee-high skirt can work just as well as a maxi skirt.Pair your floral or printed skirt with a solid top, then put your denim jacket for a more sought look.

Mini skirts are usually feminine enough to hold their own against boyish denim, regardless of whether they are structured or flowing.
Statement heels, bags or clutches to complete the look.

Queens! it's all for today now you may go get your denim jacket!
